This year on 16 and 17 September, once again the largest and most famous WW2 event at Bevrijdende Vleugels. This multi-day event is not only known for its special programming, but also for the number of participants who build their bivouac on our site in large numbers every year.
What makes Remember September so special? In addition to the many activities for young and old, you step back in time during your visit in a special way. In one place you encounter a real American paratrooper, and a little later you end up in the middle of a base camp where the many soldiers are staying. In all these places you relive history in a unique way, you are right in the middle of it! At all these locations, visitors also receive an explanation of what is happening there and what they see around them. In all parts there is extra attention for the children with fun assignments and challenges, so they experience a little bit of history like they have never seen before.
Unique for young and old Are you visiting the biggest WW2 event at Bevrijdende Vleugels with children? Then use our free stamp card, with which all children can earn stamps for various components. They learn how to build a base camp themselves, how to make fire, and they get flying lessons in our own simulator room. When all stamps have been collected, a reward is of course ready.
Tours with real WW2 vehicles There is a beautiful route through the woods around Bevrijdende Vleugels, where we will drive the most special WW2 vehicles during this weekend! And of course you can ride along.
Military Market Netherlands Also this year there will be a large militaria market during Remember September. Stroll along the many stalls full of original and special WW2 items. From rare badges to uniforms to gear, you'll find it all in our marketplace. Every visitor to Remember September has free access to this market. Do you just want to visit the market? That is also possible, for only € 6.00 you get access to the market.
Full program Also this year, the unique mini tanks of Armor Club Holland will be present again for various demonstrations, there will be various weapon demos and we will give a look at the highlights of our depot.
