History of the church and tower
The church and tower stand on either side of the Kerkstraat in Oostelbeers. The tower belonged to the church built in 1853. The tower was added in 1893. This church became too small, so a new St. Andrew and St. Anthony of Padua Church was built in 1934. The old church was demolished in 1967, leaving the old tower standing.

The Church as an Event Venue
In 2016, the church became an event venue. Because the altar, murals, and stained glass have been preserved, the unique atmosphere inside makes the church one of the most unique event venues in Brabant.

Chapel of Mary in the tower
The tower regained its religious function as the Marian chapel in 2012. During the restoration, old murals were restored, and the chapel ceiling was fitted with a glass panel, revealing part of the tower.
