Brewery Bosch

This building (farm and barn) was purchased in 1854 by Jan Baptist Bosch from the Heuvelmans estate.
A brewery already existed at that time, located in the barn behind the farmhouse. The farmhouse's facade shows that it was more prestigious than the other farmhouses on the street. The brewery was continued by his son, Andries. In 1893, the building passed to Jan Baptist's son-in-law, Ludovicus Goossens, a farmer.
Then, in 1905, it passed to his son-in-law, Frans Smulders, Ludovicus's son-in-law. The building remained in this family until 1970, when it was used as a farmhouse.
